My work experiments with different ways to create features, textures, and colors. Reworking and upcycling out of date items into new ones with a new purpose excites me, as it is important to me to use sustainable practices in my art. Most of my work is mixed media. I am inspired through the use of spray-paints, acrylics, oils, pastels, and textiles.
My art is an honest representation of me. I am finding my identity and confidence through my creative process. Most of my influences come from nature and the beauty life has to offer. Butterflies are symbol of inspiration in my life by their natural beauty. They’re a reminder to me that life is short, and it is important to live it. I like creating confidence and power through body positivity movements and self-expression. I make art hoping that my work inspires not only myself but others and reminds us that our world is full of color and life.
Recently I have been creating murals, commissions, my own ideas, and participating in live painting events and shows here in Southern California.
